Patrick

Patrick Lynch: Myth or Man?
Patrick is the chief contributor to Chronicles of Fandom blog. He has a wide range of interests which include films, television, books and music. He will attempt to use this blog to spread his opinions to the world of Fandom as he is currently unemployed and needs a place to tell people what he thinks. These opinions will range from the clever to the absurd or the downright strange. Please do not judge him too harshly as he often has the bare minimum knowledge of things and bases everything on that knowledge. He will fight you based on this little knowledge and will often throw things at you in an argument. He can be ignorant but that is part of his charm.

As they said of Lloyd Dobler "to know him is to love him". The same could be said of Patrick and in this blog he will allow you to know parts of him. The weird parts. Cos they are the only ones that matter.

Brenda

Brenda re-enacting the maze scene from The Shining
Brenda is a weekly contributor to Chronicles of Fandom and Patrick's sister. By day a mild mannered economist, by night an avid television and film enthusiast. She will literally watch anything, but is partial to the fantasy/sci-fi/horror genre. A long time film lover and frequenter of cinemas, the current trend towards quality television has swayed her for the time being. However, the list of "1001 Films You Should See Before You Die" is being worked through, so expect random reviews. Her all time favourite "respectable" film is "All About Eve" and her guilty favourite is "The Three Musketeers" (regardless of Chris O'Donnell's dodgy wig).

Geek facts -
1. Her favourite Batman in the anthology is "Batman Returns".
2. A Star Wars fan, she went through a hardcore fan phase when she was around 10, getting the original trilogy on VHS for Christmas 1998 and watched all 3 in a row on Christmas Day.
3.If she could be any actress it would be Winona Ryder (based on her film roles in Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, Heathers, Little Women and Mermaids).
4. Every December, she and Patrick watch The Lord of The Rings trilogy, extended editions.
5. The closest thing she has to a catch phrase is - "Patrick! The greatest film of all time is on - (insert 1 of 25 possible titles of varying quality)"

Séamus

Séamus: No.1 Goal in life to become a member of 1D
Séamus is a man. Therefore he will blog about man stuff. Séamus is a funny man. Therefore he will blog about funny stuff. Séamus is new to the world of fandom and geek stuff but that okay. He's going to use any blogs as anthropological study into this new faction of society. He has a job. Thus his blogging is limited. But what he does blog will be powerful, potent and must read material. Séamus is known for his jokes and for his witty observations. This is why Séamus has decided to join the fandom to increase his fan base and to learn more from the experience. His odd blog will be compulsive reading. Watch this space.

Calum

This is, like, Calum's face and stuff. He does not approve.
Calum is definitely human, and is most certainly not involved in any shady government conspiracies you may or may not have heard about on the internet. Neither is he a professional cross-country monkey-wrangler or time-travelling space-lizard who has donned the still-living flesh of a human being. What Calum is is an avid film-watcher, a dabbler in the visual arts, a writer of words (he can string whole sentences together, promise!), a listener and occasional maker of music, and an inveterate gamer. Films like Jurassic Park and Star Wars stand like monoliths as part of his childhood, but really, he'll watch anything. ANYTHING. It's actually sort of embarrassing.
